Home arrow Blog arrow Only 2% of donations online?

1. Make a clear feature on your website about setting up your charity’s branded fundraising page. Feature a link on your front page and put full illustrative instruction in the section, “How you can help”

2. In all your written communications add a line “Support us and set up a personal fundraising page – e.g. www.charityname.org.uk/fundraisingpage”

3. In your online advertising, particularly publicity about events, include the link to e.g. www.charityname.org.uk/fundraisingpage

4. On your Facebook page include an invitation and a link to set up a personal fundraising page. Ideally give a particular cause to which your supporter can dedicate their personal fundraising page.

5. Use your Twitter account each time a new campaign opportunity arises and include the URL for the fundraising page in your tweet.

The more you get the message out there about your own branded fundraising pages the more online revenue you will receive.
